☼ How will I find time to meditate?+
We just practise TM for 20 minutes twice a day, sitting comfortably with our eyes closed. That's enough to enjoy all the benefits.
People do TM because it's natural, effortless and enjoyable, and you appreciate the benefits gained from the short time you take out of your busy day. It's important what we prioritize. If you want the arrow to hit the target, you must first draw it back on the bow. Gaining strength and focus through deep rest is the basis for success in a busy life.
♥ Is TM meditation hard?+
No. TM is completely effortless. Other systems generally involve either concentration or contemplation. In TM there is no control of mind or trying to achieve a certain result. During TM the mind naturally settles down to quieter levels and the body becomes more rested – a state of restful alertness.

Transcendental Meditation (TM) does not involve concentration. Unlike other types of meditation TM requires no effort, no trying to "empty the mind", no mindfulness, and no control. ♡ What happens during TM? +
The TM technique allows your mind to easily settle inward, until you experience the most silent and peaceful level of your own awareness. It is completely different
to other meditation techniques as it involves no concentrating or focusing, no trying to "empty the mind".
♡ Can I learn TM from a book or video? +
Imagine trying to learn a natural golf swing or the violin. You know how valuable it is for a good teacher to show you the proper technique. The TM technique is easy to learn, but requires personalized interactive guidance. For this reason, it's taught only through one-on-one instruction by a certified TM teacher.
There is no other way to learn the authentic TM technique — and there is no evidence that anything else provides the full range of benefits documented in the published research on the TM technique.
⦿ Do I need to concentrate during meditation?+
Transcendental Meditation (TM) does not involve concentration. Unlike other types of meditation TM requires no effort, no trying to "empty the mind", no mindfulness, and no control.
Anyone can do it — even if you "can't meditate" TM is easy to learn and enjoyable to practice; it works with the mind's natural tendency instead of fighting against it.
It's 100% natural and effective. Everyone can practice TM, including people with ADHD, autism and children from 4 years of age.
TM doesn't involve any concentration but as a result of the practice concentration ability increases in daily life.
✪ Do I need complete silence to meditate?+
There is no need for a quiet environment to practicse Transcendental Meditation (TM). You can practice it on a plane, on the bus, at home or at work. The choice is yours.
⦿ What is the difference between sleeping and meditating?+
The state of consciousness experienced during Transcendental Meditation (TM) is significanlly different to the states of deep sleep, dream or waking. Transcendental Consciousness is a state of restful alertness – where the body is deeply rested but
the mind is awake inside, a unique state that isn't experienced at any other time.
⦿ Do I need to stop medication when I start meditating?+
Medication does not interfere with the benefits of meditation. Over time, as the mind and body become stronger with TM, you may find the need for medication is gradually reduced. If a doctor has prescribed medication best to go by the advice given and discuss any changes with your doctor.
⦿ Do I have to meditate in lotus position? +
No. we don't have to maintain any particular position to practise TM – just sitting comfortably. Is enough.
⦿ What if I'm sceptical? +
The TM technique's effectiveness is the same whether you believe it will work or are completely sceptical. That's because it automatically and effortlessly allows your active thinking mind to settle down to a state of deep inner calm.
